The Daily Verses

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. Matthew 6:19


Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:20


For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21


You cannot serve both God and money. Matthew 6:24


The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word. Matthew 13:22


If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven. Then follow me. Matthew 19:21


Then Jesus said to his disciples, Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:23


It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God. Matthew 19:24


This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God. Luke 12:21


Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out. Luke 12:33


I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. Luke 16:9


So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? Luke 16:11
