Choose Between Life and Death

The abortion is the natural or induced termination of the development of a fetus during pregnancy. The idea of making induced abortion, a women's right and a legal option, has been gaining ground and has already been adopted in many parts. Proponents, identifying themselves as pro-choice, contend that abortion is a right that should not be limited by governmental or religious authority, and which outweighs any right claimed for an embryo or fetus. Opponents, identifying themselves as pro-life, assert that personhood begins at conception, and therefore abortion is the immoral killing of a human being. Is the fetus a person and has rights? That is complicated and becomes a legal discussion. The fact is that the fetus, whether or not, legally a person, is alive and after the abortion is dead. Those are the facts. A question for those who advocate freedom of choice: Would you have liked to have freedom of choice when they were in your mother's womb? Would you have liked to be aborted? Jesus taught us the golden rule: Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. In our case: Do to the fetus as you would have liked them to do to you when you were a fetus. The choice is to love the fetus as myself.
