Passover To Liberation

Easter is not about bunnies and colored eggs. Easter means passover and celebrates the liberation of the Hebrew people from the bondage of Egypt, about the year 1250 BC. It was during the Passover celebration in Jerusalem two millennia ago, that the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, happens. Therefore, Easter has nothing to do with bunnies and colored eggs, or anything else that distorts the true meaning of Easter. We are in the Easter of resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ that celebrates our spiritual liberation from the bondage of the kingdom of darkness.
