Who Has Control?

I Am Who I Am
Maybe you don't know the way and you don't know what to do, maybe you don't seek me, your faith in me fails, you have fears and you even deny me; however, I am who guides you, I am who works in you, I am the one who is always with you and I have you in my hands. I Am Who I Am.
Although you feel loneliness, defeat and pain, even though you don't talk to me and you think you don't need me; I will always be with you and I'm there to lift you up, I'm the one who speaks to you and helps you. I Am Who I Am.
I'm not in your imagination, I'm not a vision and I'm not energy. I 'm Alive! I am in the absolute silence, beyond what "appears" to be. I'm in all, in the beginning and in the end. I am almighty and nothing happens without me. I am the law on which all rests, I am love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, unity and hope. I am your law. I Am Who I Am.
Only in your mind you can feel separated from me. Only your "I" can make you feel separated from Me. However, nothing can separate you from Me. Empty your heart of all fear, because although you can't see the good, the good exists, because I'm alive and I Am Who I Am.
This is my covenant with you.
Jesus.

Choose Your Model
Choose Your Model. There are people who ignore their parents, because their parents ignored them when they were children. There are people who hate theirr family because theirr family hates them. There are those who turn away from their spouse because their spouse turned away from them. All these attitudes have sense under the principle of sowing and reaping that exists in nature and the world has adopted. But in heaven, is not like that. That is why Jesus said: Love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:44-48. If you are a follower of Jesus you should not follow the example of the world, but the model of your heavenly Father.

Destiny Is Not In The Original Package
There are things that come "in the original package" and we do not decide, for example, who our parents are, where we are born, our race and our physical characteristics. There are other additional features, that can be changed by us, according to our decisions. For example, we get from our family and society, our beliefs, attitudes and social culture, but these latest features, we can modify. Our identity will be framed by what came in the original, which is predetermined and invariable, plus the features we adopt by our own decision, that can change over time, with our maturity. Our identity will define our profession, our spouse, our family and our way of life. However, the most important part of our identity is defined by our spiritual life and the spiritual path we take by choice, because it determines our eternal destiny. Jesus said: The gateway to enter God’s Kingdom is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. Jesus also said, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man can come to the Father except through me. You decide the way, Jesus is waiting for your decision.

What Is Your Value To God?
Do you feel you're not worth much? That's low self-esteem, which was planted in you with what you have told since you were born and that's why you compare yourself with others. Look at the facts: You are a child of God and we were all created equal, in the image of God. If you compare an elephant with a monkey, for their ability to climb a tree, the elephant is unable. But if you compared them for their ability to knock down the tree, the monkey is unable. The point is that neither of them is unable, they are just different. If that happens with animals, which were created by God, but not in the image of God, how is it with us? God has a purpose for everyone, but our own paradigm lead us to the wrong conclusions. God has accomplished great things with people who seemed insignificant, but who followed what God put in their hearts, were positive, persevered and managed to fulfill God's plan. You become what you think. If you think you are not unable, it will be that way. But if you believe God created you with a purpose, you will succeed. Seek Jesus, keep a personal relationship with Him and be guided by Him to discover the purpose of your life. Believe in faith, think positive and persevere. This way you will fulfill the plan that the Lord has for you.

Nobody Loves Me
Annie Lobert was raised in an abusive family and she turned to boys at school to find some self-worth. After graduation, she moved away from home and she thought money was the answer. The lure of money pulled her into prostitution. She found out that she could make hundreds if not thousands of dollars, selling herself. One day, she was kidnapped by a pimp. He hit her and told her, if you try to leave, I'll kill you. She could get away from him after five long years, but she came down with cancer, lost all her hair, had chemotherapy and she got addicted to painkillers, and that led into cocaine. Once when she had an overdose and lying there, she knew it was over. That's when she cried out, Jesus, please save me. I do not know if you are real, but I don't want to die. The ambulance arrived, and she knew that Jesus heard her prayer. Lobert got better and started reading the Bible. She heard God saying to her, Annie, I want you to go back down to that strip. And I want you to tell the girls that are in slavery that I love them. No matter where you've been, no matter what you've done, no matter how deep, how dirty you feel, there is redemption. Lobert founded "Hookers For Jesus" in January 2005 to address the realities of human sex trafficking, sexual violence, and exploitation linked to pornography and the sex industry. Lobert concluded her story in just three lines. Little girl lost, thought no one loved her, thought no one wanted her, ran away from her castle. But God met her on that dark road. He said, You can come home now. I am right here and I never left you. Come Home to Jesus.

Information or Power?
Don't search for information, seek POWER. Until a few decades ago, information was in books that were in libraries. But today, we just turn on our computer and in minutes we get all the information we need. However, despite technology, information is useless if we don't understand it, because we can not use it. Something similar happens with the Word of God in the Bible. We can read it, but we need to understand it. The words written in any book provide information, but the Word of God in the Bible, has Creative Power. We read in the Gospel of John in chapter 1: In the beginning of Creation the Word already existed, God created everything through the Word and the Word gave life to everything that was created. So great is the power of God's word that Jesus said: Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear. He also said that people do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God and that only God can make us understand the Scriptures. Do not read the Bible for information, ask God to reveal His Word to you and discover His Creative Power . Information? No. POWER!

What Do You Need?
What Do You Need? There is a saying: You don't know what you have until you lose it. The truth is that very often do not value what we have, but when we lose it, is when we notice that we need it and then is when we realize value it has. It is also true that, what we've never had, we don't we need, because we don't have the experience of "having it" and we don't miss it. Unfortunately, that's what happens to many people with God, our Father in heaven. Almost everyone has some concept of God and was born into a family that practiced a religion, but since they have never experienced a personal relationship with God, they don't know what they are missing, for living separated from their heavenly Father. Jesus said: Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. Whoever eats from me, remains in me, and I in him (John 6). We always seek God when we are in trouble, but as we don't have a personal and intimate relationship with Him, we are distant and there is no connection. That's what we feel and that's why we have doubts. Give God the first place and seek your heavenly Father, to develop and maintain a personal relationship with Him. That's what you need.

Red Carpet
A red carpet is traditionally used to mark the route taken by heads of state on ceremonial and formal occasions, and has in recent decades been extended to use by VIPs and celebrities at formal events. Walking the red carpet is an honor and a privilege, but in the spiritual world, God has a red carpet for His children, which is much more exclusive and powerful. Jesus Christ shed His Precious Blood for us all, so that we are redeemed from our mortal state and we could walk straight to heaven walking the "red carpet" of The Blood of Christ, to enjoy eternal life. In the world the red carpet represents distinction and honor for personalities. However, for the children of God, the blood of Christ shed on the Cross of Calvary, is the ultimate proof of God's love for us and the price Christ paid for our redemption and eternal life.

Democracy In Heaven?
Democracy is a system in which the people proposes, develops, approves, implements and maintains the laws through elected officials and is based on the innate human desire to choose and decide. We chose and decide where to live, what to do, what to have, with whom we relate, who married and who governs us. human beings are so fond of this process, that we have forgotten that the ability to choose and decide, only works between humans and not in our relationship with God. The Kingdom of God is a system in which God, who is King of the Universe, proposed, developed and approved all the laws, in the creation of the universe and executes and maintains them for all eternity. We did not choose God as King, but He chose us as his people. However, God gave us the freedom to follow Him as God and King or not, and stated that if we follow and obey Him, we are his people with all the protection and all the benefits of His Kingdom. If we do not follow, nor obey Him, we are not His people and do not belong to His Kingdom. We were out on our own, without protection. Make no mistake, in heaven there is no democracy. God, almighty and eternal King, became man and came down to earth to teach us how His Kingdom works. If you want to live in the kingdom of God forever, where there is no pain, needs, or death, read the Gospels and follow Jesus. His Kingdom is not a democracy, but His love for us, that we fail to understand yet, just wants our good and eternal salvation.

Changes and Paradigms
Changes and Paradigms. Changes are scary and sometimes is painful to change. In order to change, we need to break our paradigms and that is difficult for many people. There are changes that occur beyond our control and we can adapt to survive and thrive, or nor to adapt, and suffer the consequences. But there are changes that are caused by our own decision. God uses both types of change for our benefit. God models us through the changes that occur beyond our control and teaches us obedience through the changes that we decide. God asks us to change hate to love, sadness to joy, enmity to peace, restlessness to patience, evil to goodness, rudeness by kindness, disloyalty to faithfulness, pride to humility and lack of control or wildness, to self-control. This change is very difficult for us, but is the fruit of the Spirit of God in us. Ask your Heavenly Father to fill you with His Spirit and you will be able to change and be obedient to what God asks you. Do not fear this change.

Words and Life
Words and Life. Do you know the Power of words? Jesus said: It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth. The words you speak come from the heart, that’s what defiles you (Matthew 15), He also said: You must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you (Matthew 12). We read in the chapter 1 of John, the Power of the Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone , and the Roman officer, said to Jesus: Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed (Matthew 8). The Word: Teach, Enlighten, Rassure, Guide, Create, Soothe, Order, Strengthen, Forgive, Heal and Give Life. What Word produces these results? The Word of God over any other word. But also, the words we say. Every spoken word has power. Seek for life in the word of God and watch what you say.

Chance
Chance and coincidences do not exist. You are a Divine Miracle, created in the image and likeness of God. Jesus said: What is the price of two sparrows, one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows (Matthew 10:29-31). Therefore, if you fall, get up, pass your trial and fight for your goal. Because God teaches you through adversity, to acquire strength, willpower, self-control and wisdom. If you feel helpless and it seems impossible to continue, seek the hand of God and He will strengthen you and guide you. The grief will turn to joy, intead of tiredness you will have new forces, defeat will be turned into victory, scarcity will be the beginning of abundance and your problems will be solved. Nothing happens "by chance". Go forward with confidence in God, obey His principles and see that miracles "Do" happen; however, it is not by chance.

Today
Today. Concentrate and focus on today. Today is important. Perhaps you worry about the provision you need for the future. Chances are you also worry about the problems that can occur tomorrow. You may feel you do not have enough strength for all that the future may bring and you see your goals so far that they seem impossible to achieve. However, this is the best time to thank God for today, for the provision he gave you today, for what you can solve and accomplish today and because you have the strength to get up today. Do not worry about tomorrow because you have no control over the future and do not know what it brings. All that matters now is what you can do, achieve and enjoy today. Jesus said: Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Seek Jesus, give Him the control of your life and leave the future in His Hands.

Thank You Lord
Thank You Lord. Now, in the silence and stillness that remains after the holidays, we say from the bottom of our hearts: Thank you Lord for all that you gave us, in the year that ended. Thank you, for everything we received, without having deserve it. Thanks for all the circumstances that brought us close to you. Thank you, for everything that happened. Thanks for the hope. Thanks, for illuminating the darkness. Thank you for lifting us up when we fell down and for forgiving our mistakes. Thank you, for all that we ignore and you've done for our good. What do we ask you for the coming year? Give us Lord, what you know is good for us, and we do not know how to ask. Pour Lord, Thy grace on us all. Free us from envy, hatred and war. Fill us with understanding, contentment, forgiveness, love and peace. Teach us to truly love our neighbor. Teach us to treat others as we want them to treat us. May our journey through this year be filled with you. So be it. Amen. Happy new year for all.

This Year 2014
In this year 2014, The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. This new year, The Lord renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley during this year, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. This year you prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of this year and of all my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. Psalms 23:1-6
